Spatial Capture Features

All spatial capture systems must have functionality for stable recording. Connect 10x or more Azure Kinect or Luxonis Oak-D spatial cameras with individual resolutions.

10x and More Spatial Cameras

Microsoft and Luxonis spatial or volumetric camera sensors are currently the best in class at providing good quality and stability. Azure Kinect and Luxonis Oak-D spatial cameras have many advantages over their competitors, such as high resolution colour camera (up to 8K), high resolution depth and infrared cameras that provide the most accurate depth data. We made it possible to record with 10x and more camera sensors synchronously.

Capture Setup

Setup your volumetric or spatial cameras quickly and calibrate them together within minutes. No greenscreen is required, although can be used. From one up to ten, or more, cameras can be used to create a huge variety of possible camera setups. The position, height and angles are all very flexible when using SpatialScan3D™ with Azure Kinect or Luxonis Oak-D. After moving cameras to a new position you can recalibrate them back together in just 5-10 minutes with our automatic stereo calibration. Usual camera setup involves connecting them all to a single computer, placing them in a circle around your capture stage, such that the whole actor is fully visible. A standard lighting setup is also needed.

Stereo Calibration

Calibrate all your cameras together automatically in mere minutes. Calibrate 10x or more cameras at once.

Stereo calibration enables you to simply walk through the spatial capture stage while holding the calibration board and stopping to take shots. You can print the calibration boards to standard or custom specifications direct in-app.

Autonomous markerless camera synchronisation for 10x or more cameras is coming soon in a future release.
