Feature Description
This feature allows you smooth the normal values of your mesh. These values determine the way that light is reflected from your mesh.
How to Use
- To use this feature in Export or Rendering you must enable the feature’s main toggle.
- Note that you must first generate a mesh with either the Watertight Mesh feature or with the Mesh feature or with the Watertight Mesh 2 feature.
- You first should decide how many neighboring vertices will be taken into account for each normal value’s calculation. Usually the more you select the better the result will be but also the longer it will take to process.
- Enabling the “Weight using neighbor distance” allow you to get better, more accurate results, at the cost of extra processing time.
